Is there any easy way to turn off the sources and references columns while coding an interview in NVIVO 11 for Windows? (see attached screenshot) They take up valuable screen space, making it more difficult to see the nodes that I am working with. If there is any easy way to turn these off while coding, it would be really helpful. Thanks for any suggestions.

There isn’t a way to remove the column entirely, but there are a couple of things you can do to maximize your detail view.

  • Firstly, what you can do is rescale the sources and references column (list view) so that it is smaller. You can do this by clicking and dragging the border between the list view and the detail view.
  • You can also undock the detail view so that you can view it across the entire monitor, or drag it to a second monitor if your computer has one. Information about this can be found here: http://help-nv10.qsr...iniTOCBookMark9
